Oyama has a population of 160,000 people and has grown to become the second largest City in Tochigi Prefecture, and the largest central city in the South Tochigi area. Situated a mere 80km north of Tokyo, Oyama’s potential for future development is strong, and production and growth across many industries have continually increased throughout the last few decades.
We, in Oyama pride ourselves on our surrounding environment as Oyama integrates itself as a city built on “water, greenery and earth”. The city of Oyama dates back centuries and life in Oyama began thousands of years ago. Our rich culture and heritage is combined with urban city living gives Oyama the greatest combination of modern necessities as well as a peaceful playground where people of all ages are welcome. The citizens of Oyama value their community spirit as honesty and family values are priorities throughout the City.
